While Lake Forest Plaza was a beloved landmark that brought together shopping, dining, and entertainment for decades, the Renaissance Town Center will take this legacy into the future, creating a dynamic, modern space for the community. This new development will feature a mix of retail, residential, and commercial spaces, including standalone stores, hotels, apartments, and condos, all designed to meet the needs of today’s residents and visitors.

The Final Chapter
In 2005, Hurricane Katrina brought widespread devastation, leading to the permanent closure of the Plaza Mall.
